"more and more women are realizing this would lead to a barren and lonely life".

That's a great line, and I think it shows why so many female priests and pastors are lesbians who aren't interested in a husband and children.

Follow that path and you get to all the acceptance of the trans movement.

Thekla, Paul's traveling companion and assistant performed pastoral roles, such as preaching and participating in baptisms, with a focus on ministering to other women, according to the extant literature. She was a leader in some capacity, but by her close association with Paul.

Priscilla is often mentioned before her husband Aquila in Paul's letters and in Acts.

There's no attestation in early church history of women being *the* pastor, but women definitely acted as *a* pastor, ministering in ways that they were called.
